Devoted to Texas contemporary art, the Arlington Museum of Art features works from emerging and established Texas artists. Each year, the museum displays artworks in eight to ten special themed exhibits and allows enhanced experiences through its special performing arts events, visual art lectures and children's art educational programs. The museum is housed in a renovated 1950's art moderne building in downtown Arlington, just north of the University of Texas at Arlington campus.
